Strategic Acquisitions

in 2021 completed the acquisition of Scanlink and Trentyre, together with the supporting back-up infrastructure which it described as a significant milestone towards bringing value both to shareholders and customers. Scanlink has a premium quality brand with a nationwide market presence in trucks, buses, and generators and Trentyre is the one of the largest tyre supplier in Zimbabwe b that embraces premium Good Year tyres as well as budget brands targeting customers at various price points.

Over the last 3 years the Group has undertaken some strategic acquisitions. These included the acquisition of the minority interest in Tractive Power Holdings (TPH) and the subsequent delisting of TPH from the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.

CSR Activities

Through the Mealie brand division, the Group refurbished the Mpilo Hospital Casualty Ward to boost the health services of the nation. After completion, the Ward was handed over on the 28th of October 2014 in an eventful ceremony.

Human Capital Management

The Group values the importance of the health and wellness of its employees and invests in various programmes to achieve the objective of providing adequate health facilities and continuous education on health matters.
